VETERAN OF THE WEEK 

Bill entered the USAF in 1956 as an Aviation Cadet, completing pilot training, in Feb. 1958, further training at the advanced fighter interceptor school at Moody AFB. He remained in the air force for eight years, flying as an Air Defense Command fighter pilot and also a radar intercept controller at the Washington Air Defense Sector, discharged in November 1964, flying for the airline industry for 30 years, before retiring in 1995.
